Dr Imran Badshah | Consultant Physician & Endocrinologist

Dr Imran Badshah is a Specialist General Physician and Endocrinologist who focuses on system-level patient care delivery. He graduated from Khyber Medical College in Peshawar, Pakistan, in 2006. He then completed basic physician training in internal medicine in New Zealand and Australia, followed by Advanced training in Endocrinology and Diabetes at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital and Fiona Stanley Hospital. The Royal Australasian College of Physicians awarded him a Fellowship in Endocrinology in 2017.

Dr Badshah holds a public appointment at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital and consults privately at Hollywood Private Hospital, where he possesses private admitting rights in General Medicine. He previously worked as an Obstetric Endocrinologist at Joondalup Hospital for two years, where he established the Gestational Diabetes clinic. Dr Badshah remains passionate about his patients and highly values communication with primary care physicians.

Dr Badshah actively conducts clinical research and participates in international multi-centre clinical trials regarding obesity and diabetes. He serves as the Principal Lead of Obesity and Diabetes randomised controlled trials (RCTs) in Western Australia for the pharmaceutical companies Eli Lilly and Novo Nordisk. He also worked as a Clinical Trial Investigator at the University of Western Australia and has published peer-reviewed research papers in the field of diabetes and endocrinology.
