How to Prepare

Preparing for Your Appointment:

When visiting Veritas Medicolegal for a consultation, please bring any relevant x-rays, scans, MRI films, and reports. If these are not readily available, don't worry. For psychiatric or psychological appointments, these are not necessary. Remember to carry your photo ID, and you'll be asked to sign a consent form before the assessment.

For your comfort and to facilitate examination, please wear loose, comfortable clothing. Undergarments should be worn, and gowns are available if needed.

The assessment duration varies, typically lasting between 45 minutes to 1½ hours, depending on the complexity of your case. We advise arriving 15 minutes early to complete any necessary paperwork.

Report and Timelines:

Our specialists compile a comprehensive report based on your physical examination, medical history. Any relevant accompanying medical and allied health correspondence, and results from previous investigations will also be considered. Typically, the report is available to the referrer within 10-15 business days post-appointment.
