Dr Eugene Henry

Dr Eugene Henry is a dual-qualified specialist in Emergency Medicine and Pain Medicine. His career has given him broad exposure to acute injury, complex pain presentations, functional impairment, recovery trajectories and the long-term consequences of trauma and illness.

Dr Henry is an APIA-approved medicolegal assessor and brings substantial front-line and specialist experience to medicolegal assessment. His background in Emergency Medicine provides a strong understanding of acute presentations, injury mechanisms, diagnostic decision-making and early treatment pathways. His specialist training in Pain Medicine allows him to assess persistent pain, functional decline, treatment response, medication issues and the broader impact of pain on daily life and work capacity.

Dr Henry currently holds a public appointment as a Pain Medicine Consultant at Fiona Stanley Hospital.
